You can’t “wish upon a star” for more creativity.

And creativity isn’t some magical juju that you’re either born with, or not.

It can be replenished, even when it feels as though it’s run out.

I know it’s frustrating. You settle down to create… everything is in place…

  • The kids are asleep
  • Hubby is watching TV
  • You get a mug of hot cocoa
  • You even clean off your workspace!

But then… nothing. You make a few half-hearted attempts, and then you check your Facebook, and finally, 45 minutes later, you call it a night. You take a hot shower to clear your head, but then you end up grabbing a bowl of ice cream, and binge-watching Firefly for the hundredth time.

This goes on for days at a time, and you start to wonder if you broke your creative bone somehow.

I understand that you may not always feel creative. In fact, you may even doubt that you are a creative. I get that! We all have days like that.

But the great news, is that even though you feel that way, I can promise you this… EVERYONE is creative. Everyone.

Like I said earlier, it’s not some magical juju that you either born with, or not. Even if you only have a tiny seed of creativity, that can be nurtured, and grow into something spectacular.

  • Thomas Edison was told that he was stupid, by his teachers.
  • John Grisham’s first novel was rejected by 16 agents.
  • Stephen King threw his first attempt at Carrie in the trash.
  • Walt Disney was fired by a newspaper editor, for lacking in ideas.

Fortunately for the world, they found that something special, that only they could give, and they went for it, with everything they had.

So what if?

What if you had a bag of tricks?

What if you had a cache of ideas to choose from, when creative barriers raise their ugly heads.

What if you were in a community of like-minded creatives, that you could toss ideas around with, and be inspired by.

What if, instead of having ice cream in defeat, you were having ice cream to celebrate a new creation? (Cause let’s be real… I’d never deny you ice cream!)

What if you could find your something special?

I know you may not always feel creative, but I promise you this. You are. 30 Days of Creative Abandon is here to remind you of that.

  • This course is broken up into 2 sections; the 1st lays the ground for a lifestyle of creativity, the 2nd part builds from the foundation with more digging in.
  • These are daily emails. When you finish the course, you’ll receive a PDF with all of the prompts in it, so that you can go back through, at your leisure.
  • Each email will have a quick story and/or a quick video. These are bite-sized cause I know you’re busy, and I want to respect your time.
  • Each email also contains an inspiration quote (that’s on that day’s topic), and they’re all printable!
  • And every email contains curated resources, so you don’t have to spend time digging for extra information or supplies (unless you want to!).
  • This comes with a free Facebook group, with other creative women sharing their struggles, breakthroughs, and inspirations.
  • Lastly, it’s affordable. Why? Blame being in a large family. Blame it on being a MacGyver fan. But to me, creativity doesn’t spring from having unlimited resources. It’s taking what you have and going crazy with it. (I’m looking at you, crazy “paint + cardboard tube = ‘wrought iron wall designs’ people”.). And the course? The course is only $24.95

The next rotation will start October 1st, but pre-orders will grant you immediate addition to the Facebook group! 🙂

 So who am I?

I’m timeless… I’ve been around for centuries, and I travel through time & space. Sometimes I have a companion… sometimes, I am alone… and when I am alone, I am so very lonely.

Oh wait no… that’s The Doctor… I get confused sometimes.

Seriously, I’m a fellow creative. I understand that itch you get to try new things, cause I feel it all the time. I’m currently interested in photography, crocheting, drawing, and singing. I’m about to start a watercolor class, and next week I’ll be taking some knitting classes. I’ve dabbled in quilling, origami, acrylics, calligraphy, and goodness knows what else.

I’m also a homeschooling mom of 5 kiddos, and I’m married to my dear husband Phillip. We met while we were working in the Air Force… I was the cute girl at the fitness center that he was flirting with, and he was the pesky guy who wouldn’t stop talking to me while I was at work. 😉

I created this program specifically for busy women, cause I understand… my husband is no longer in the military, but he still does shift work, so we constantly have to work around odd schedules. I work around his schedule, when my children are doing school (which requires a lot of reading & explaining from me, at this stage), and when my youngest needs to eat.

I created this course for creative women, cause I’ve been there. I’ve stared at a blank canvas. I’ve fallen asleep trying to write something… anything! I’ve gone out with my camera, and returned with no photos. I know what it feels like, to want nothing more than to make something beautiful, or compelling, or inspiring… but feel completely stuck and uninspired.

So to recap, this course is:

  • Bite-sized
  • Jam-packed with resources
  • Fun
  • Colorful
  • Inspirational
  • Filled with actionable ideas
  • Comes with a Facebook group for added feedback & community

And it’s $24.95, because I want to make this super easy to jump right in, and start your journey to creating with wild abandon. 🙂

The next rotation will start October 1st, but pre-orders will grant you immediate addition to the Facebook group! 🙂
